Mumbai

The journey begins from Mumbai. The Indian Maharaja Express arrives at Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai at 16:00 hours, where the train receives a grand and warm welcome by the train’s attendants and after that the tourists are ushered to their respective lavish cabins by the attendants and then the train departs from the station for its first location Aurangabad.

Aurangabad

Next day as soon as you wake up you will find yourself in Daultabad, a place in Aurangabad and after having a sumptuous go out and adorn the beautiful and famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora, the glory of Maharashtra, which houses famous art works of the Buddhist religion. Plus there are several Hindu, Buddhist and Jain Temples to visit and do not forget to pay a visit to the renowned monument Bibi Ka Maqbara which the replica of the stunning Taj Mahal and after lunch you will be again brought back to Daultabad, where the train will be waiting for you to take you to your next destination.

Udaipur

On the third day of your voyage you will be at mesmerizing Udaipur, which is famously known as the ‘city of lakes.’ Udaipur is the land of valiant Rajput warrior princes and it reflects the stunning aura of the glorious Rajputana style in true sense. Popular tourist spots in Udaipur are Sahelion ki Baari, the famous Crystal Gallery and the Jagdish Temple. At night you will be treated with succulent dinner in a posh city hotel.

Sawai Madhopur

For the fourth day gearup your cameras and binoculars because your next destination will be the glorious Ranthambore National Park, where you will be amazed to see the spectacular beauty of Mother Nature. There you will find different types of animal and plant species. The exciting jungle safari is super amazing and it will let you to catch the glimpses of various exotic animals.

Jaipur

The pink city Jaipur is your next location. Jaipur is the abode of many grand and historical monuments like the Hawa Mahal, Ajmer Fort, Jantar Mantar and the City Palace and there are vibrant and colorful markets vending various local Rajasthani handicraft items and after your day long expedition of the city return back to your cozy cabins and your dinner will be served onboard.

Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

With the breaking dawn you will arrive at your next location Agra where you will witness the majestic Taj Mahal the epitome of love built by Sah Jahan for his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Plus there are other monuments like the Agra Fort and several other buildings which date back to the late Mughal era including the superbly constructed Fatehpur Sikri.

Delhi

At the seventh day of your trip you will arrive at the capital of India, Delhi, which has ample of places to visit. Places like India Gate, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Delli Haat etc., are worthy to visit.

Delhi (Return)
