Day 1
Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi in the night. Our representatives will meet you and assist in transferring you to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Learn about the history of Delhi, the quintessential city that exemplifies the confluence of the old and the modern.

Day 2
Arrive Delhi - Varanasi

In the morning, after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi which will include Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Himayun’s Tomb, Purana Quila, Lotus Temple and drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and other parts of Delhi. With a vast historicity, Delhi offers not just a quaint shopping experience, but wonderful eating experience from a variety of options ranging from regional cuisine to lip-smacking street food. In the evening board a train to Varanasi for overnight journey.

Day 3
Varanasi

Arrive Varanasi in the morning and be suitably assisted by our representative to transfer to the hotel. After spending some relaxed moments, proceed on a guided tour of Varanasi, the religious capital of Hinduism. The sacred city, the symbol of Hindu renaissance and associated with spiritualism, mysticism, Sanskrit language and yoga will take you through the hallowed realms of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Benaras Hindu University, the center of learning and civilization for over 3000 years and the biggest University in Asia and other important monuments including the sacred place for Jains, birthplace of Parsvanath, the twenty-third Tirthankar. In the evening, against the sublime backdrop of the setting sun, attend the aarti at the Ghat. Stay overnight at Varanasi.

Day 4
Varanasi

Very early morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride with your guide on the sacred river Ganges to see the sunrise, the cremation Ghats and the sacred rituals. Watch hundreds of faithful take a bath and pray on the banks. The entire scene comes alive as a reassurance of Hindu faith and spiritualism.

Return for a walk through the cobblestone streets along the banks of "Ganga" and see the buzz around the shops opening and selling holy beads, handicrafts, etc. Return to the hotel and have a sumptuous breakfast before proceeding to Sarnath, miles from Varanasi where Buddha gave his first Sermon in 590 BC after enlightenment. After seeing the ruins of the Buddhist monastery, visit the Museum that has a collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site. Go back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5
Varanasi - Agra

In the morning, after checkout from the hotel, transfer to the station to board a train to Agra. Reach Agra in the evening. Stay overnight at Agra.

Agra is home to the precious architectural creation and one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Taj Mahal. Other monuments in Agra speak of architectural magnificence of the 16th and early 17th centuries dominated by the Mughal Empire. The mausoleums, the fort and the palaces exemplify the most peculiar elements of Muslim architecture in design, space and landscaping.

Day 6
Agra - Jaipur

In the morning, visit the poignant monument of love - Taj Mahal and built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 in memory of his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. With its ‘frozen in time’ appearance, you can stand in awe and wonder and let tranquility come over you. Afterwards, visit the Agra Fort, the architectural legacy left by Emperor Akbar in 1565. The marvel in red standstone reflects the fusion of Jain and Mughal architecture in structure and design layout in the Jehangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Deewan-e-Am. Afterwards, drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur, check in to your hotel.

Day 7
Jaipur

After an early breakfast in the morning at the hotel, proceed to Amer Fort. Take a grand elephant ride up to the Fort, built in the 16th century by Maharaja Man Singh, who built palaces and a beautiful temple in marble dedicated to the fearsome goddess Kali. In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur, founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II. In the afternoon enjoy tour of the walled city, which draws heavily on construction techniques of ‘Shilpa-Shastra’, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Visit the City Palace Museum to see the rare collection of paintings, Rajasthani armory and costumes, the astronomical wonder Jantar Mantar (observatory) built in the 1700's (A.D), Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) and drive past Pink City. Evening visit to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort (optional); which recreates the flavour of Rajasthani folk culture. Watch children gyrate to the high-tenor folk songs in the Rajasthani tradition. Take in the pastoral atmosphere of caparisoned camel, horses and bullock carts offering joy rides and eat at the Choki-dhani theme restaurant. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8
Jaipur - Delhi (272 km / 170 miles - 5 hours b)

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast in the morning. You are free to explore this royal city on your own – discover new spots, shop at the famous bazaars and state emporiums for ethnic handicrafts, authentic gems and knick-knacks. Later in the day check out from your hotel and leave for Delhi. Directly reach IGI airport Delhi to board a flight for your final destination. Your tour comes to an end here but we are sure you’ll carry the nicest memories.
